What have some styles that are hypoallergenic, these styles are 18K and rhodium plated. Rhodium plating is it’s nickel free, making it hypoallergenic.  Get in contact with us and we can discuss your needs when wearing certain jewellery.

At the moment we only offer one offs, so each Bridesmaid would wear something different. 

We are however, planning on having multiples of some select styles (up to six) to offer the same set to each Bridesmaid. If you’d like matching sets, please get in touch with us to talk through the current options.

Of course! We are always looking to collaborate and work with like minded people.

Please let us know if you are hiring the jewellery for reasons other than private use to discuss our T&Cs. Our Standard Hire Agreements are for private hiring. 

How do you calculate the security bond and how is it returned?2018-11-29T02:46:02+00:00

Our standard security bond is calculated at 2.5 x the standard hire rate. So, for our Josephine Trio Earrings on a standard 4 day hire of $420.00, the bond charged in addition to the hire rate is $1050.00.

Hire rate = $420 (paid at time of booking)
Bond = standard hire @ $420 x 2.5 = $1050.00 (a pre-authorisation on your credit card or to be paid 10 business days before shipping)
Total = hire rate $420 + bond $1050.00 = $1470.00 + postage and handling.
Refund after goods are returned subject to T’s and C’s = Bond = $1050.00

The hire rate must be paid to secure your booking. The bond can be paid at a later date, but must be paid in full 10 business days before your event date.

Due to the high value and nature of our jewellery, we reserve the right to request up to 50% of the full retail value as the security bond at our sole discretion. 

After the jewellery and other items (packaging etc.) have been returned in good condition and has been inspected by one of our team members, we will refund the Bond to your account within 10 business days. If there are any charges arising from damage or something unusual, we will get in contact with you to discuss.

What if I lose the jewellery?2018-09-30T08:42:04+00:00

Every girls nightmare! Hopefully this never happens, however we have processes in place to prepare for such things.

If you lose an earring or the jewellery, simply get in contact with us straight away. If an item is completely lost or not returned this will be charged as outlined on the Hire Agreement. We will subtract the outstanding monies from your security bond or charge your nominated credit card with the amount set out in a final invoice that we have sent to you within 60 days of the Return Date. If the security deposit or the applicable excess, and the amount of final invoice is less than the amount charged, we will reimburse you for the difference.

What if I don’t receive my jewellery on time?2018-09-30T08:48:05+00:00

We track all our items, so if there’s an issue with the post arriving on time due to our postage partner’s fault, we’ll issue you a refund or attempt to provide a replacement to you in time for your event.

However, if you miss or don’t collect your jewellery from our postage partner before your event or provide us with an incorrect shipping address, we cannot offer you a refund.

You will also be provided with tracking details for your parcel once it has been processed by our postage partner. You’ll be able to keep an eye on the progress of the parcel and can get in touch with us or our postage partner directly if you have any concerns.

What if I damage the jewellery while I have it?2018-09-30T08:44:11+00:00

We assess every item of jewellery when it’s returned to us. If the piece is slightly damaged and can be repaired, we will undertake minor maintenance at no cost to you.

However, if there is significant damage, requiring the jewellery to be sent to our Jewellers, we will get in contact with you to resolve the issue in accordance with the conditions set out in our Hire Agreement (we will charge you the cost of the repair plus 10%). In the event the piece is damaged beyond repair or not returned, this will be charged at 50% of the retail value (we hope this never happens!!).

These charges will be deducted from your security bond or we will charge your nominated Credit Card with the amount set out in the final invoice that we have sent to you within 60 days of the date you returned the jewellery. If the security deposit or the applicable excess, and the amount of final invoice is less than the amount charged, we will reimburse you for the difference.

What if I misplace or lose my return post bag?2018-07-09T12:25:07+00:00

If you misplace the return post bag, it is your responsibility to send the order back to us via Insured Express Post on the return date at your own expense.

For the minimum hire length, it’s best to receive your jewellery on the first day, wear it on the second or third day depending when your event is, and post it back on the fourth day. Simple!

You can also hire the jewellery for as long as you’d like. Just get in contact with us to discuss longer term hires.

Why do you need Identification Documentation?2018-07-10T07:07:57+00:00

To ensure the security of the jewellery, we need to know who will be wearing and hiring our pieces. To do this, we request Identification Documentation be submitted in the form of a Drivers Licence or Proof of Age card and a Bank issued EFTPOS/Credit Card.

To prove your identification, you will need to submit documents that support your following personal details:

– given name
– family name
– current address
– date of birth.

What if I don’t send the jewellery back to JIRE on time?2018-09-30T09:25:06+00:00

We really want to be able to share the jewellery you hired with everyone – that’s why we go the extra step by including return express postage. If you love the jewellery and want to keep it for longer – no problem! Just Contact Us so we can confirm availability.  

Due to the nature of our business, it’s very important that you return the jewellery on time. Late fees are outlined in our Hire Agreement, but our clients have an established track record of returning the pieces they borrow in a timely manner. We expect that you’ll do the same out of consideration for other clients.

After every hire, each piece is hand inspected, thoroughly and professionally cleaned to guarantee our next customer receives clean and hygienic jewellery.

Our jewellery is also packaged with return instructions for each piece to insure after your own wear, you help us maintain our high standards for hygiene.

Of course! We started our business with a focus on Brides and they continue to be a big part of our client base. However, in talking to clients, we found that many were hiring our jewellery for other occasions besides weddings.

To meet their needs, we’re working to add more jewellery pieces appropriate for other special occasions such as galas, birthdays or even if it’s just for a girl’s night out. We make it fun and easy to feel luxurious wearing a special piece that ties the outfit together perfectly, regardless of the occasion.
